Terms of Service
1. Who we are
StoveApp ("the service") is provided by [YOUR REGISTERED BUSINESS NAME] ("we", "us"), [company number if any], of [YOUR BUSINESS ADDRESS]. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.
2. The service
StoveApp is software that helps stove and chimney installers manage customers, surveys, quotes, invoices and installations. We provide it on a subscription basis. We may improve or change features over time; we won't remove something core to your paid plan without reasonable notice.
3. Your account
You must give accurate account details, keep your login secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. One subscription is for one business. Don't share access outside your business or attempt to access another organisation's data.
4. Your data and your customers' data
You keep ownership of the data you put into StoveApp. For your customers' personal data, you are the data controller and we are your processor — see our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to hold your customers' data and for giving them their own privacy information. We process that data only to provide the service to you. You can export or delete customer data using the tools in the app.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use StoveApp to break the law, to store data you have no right to hold, to send unlawful or unsolicited messages, or to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service.
6. Payment
Subscription fees, billing cycle and any founding-member pricing are as shown when you sign up. [Owner/solicitor to set out fees, renewals, refunds and cancellation terms.]
7. Availability
We work to keep the service available and reliable, but we provide it "as is" and can't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. The service is a tool to assist your work; you remain responsible for your professional judgement, quotes, calculations and compliance with installation standards.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence). Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the [12] months before the claim. [Owner/solicitor to confirm the cap and wording.]
9. Ending the agreement
You can cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly breached. On closure, contact us to export or delete your data; see the Privacy Policy for how long data is kept.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales. [Owner/solicitor to confirm.]
